About MetaT8

MetaT8 is continuity infrastructure for human centered care. It supports people in the days between mental health sessions and helps the clinicians, counselors and families around them stay connected to how the week went.

Why does MetaT8 exist?

MetaT8 started in the chair. Its founder, Jaesen Kanter, is a combat veteran with PTSD who went through ketamine therapy.

I know what it is like to be left alone in treatment. I am a combat veteran with PTSD, and I went through ketamine therapy myself. The medicine opened me. The system left me alone when I needed support the most.

MetaT8 exists to end that failure: technology that deepens the trust between a patient and a clinician, instead of replacing it.

Who is behind MetaT8?

Jaesen Kanter, Founder. Jaesen has spoken publicly about living with PTSD, moral injury and treatment, experiences that shape how MetaT8 thinks about care and the systems meant to provide it. Jaesen writes about continuity of care on LinkedIn.

MetaT8 is operated by METAT8 LLC, based in Jonestown, Texas. The product is built by Aidem Labs.

What does MetaT8 believe about AI?

AI supports the system. It is not the system. The system is the clinician, the counselor, the parent, the friend, the referral pathway and the follow up call. Real people, real relationships, real responsibility.
