MetaT8 for clinics
Last updated
MetaT8 is for interventional psychiatry and psychotherapy practices, including ketamine clinics, that want to know how patients are doing between visits. A week has 168 hours and a session takes about one. MetaT8 is built for the other 167.
What do clinicians see in MetaT8?
- The week before the session. A short AI-written summary of journal entries and conversations arrives before the next session, so it starts where the patient is.
- Homework status. Clinicians assign homework and see what was done before the patient walks in.
- Crisis alerts. When a patient's words signal a crisis, their clinician is alerted directly. The alert goes to a human.
What do patients do between sessions?
Patients use the MetaT8 app on their phone. They keep a written or voice journal while the week is still fresh, reflect with AI support in the hours the clinic is closed, and complete the homework their clinician assigns.
Does MetaT8 replace the clinician?
No. AI supports the system. It is not the system. MetaT8 is not an AI therapist or a chatbot standing in for a person. It carries context forward so the people doing the care are not starting from zero every time. Clinical decisions stay with the clinician.
What problem does MetaT8 solve for a practice?
People often fall out of care in the gap between sessions, and clinics have very few tools to check in, track progress and follow up in a way that feels human rather than automated. These articles describe the problem we are working on:
- What should a clinic do when a patient misses a therapy session?
- How do weekly check-ins show progress in therapy?
- Why do people drop out of therapy between sessions?
How does a clinic start with MetaT8?
We are building MetaT8 with a small group of founding clinics. Apply to the Founding Partner Program, schedule a demo from the home page, or email info@metat8.com.
MetaT8 is not a treatment, not a crisis service, and not a replacement for professional clinical care. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988.
